Throughout the years, he has been known as many things. Magician, legend, king, genius… but what is he really? Well, he is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, so he is all of the above.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic grew up in a tough multi-ethnic district in Rosengård, Sweden, with his Bosnian father and Croatian mother. He is a football player for the Swedish national team, and the newspapers can’t stop talking about where he will go next, after just recently leaving the football club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
If you’ve never heard about him, you will soon enough. He guarantees it. He is the best football player in the world… because he said so. And we believe him. Why? Because there is only one Zlatan. And he has branded himself in such a way ever since he took the spotlight during his playing years at Ajax Amsterdam.
Here’s an interview of Zlatan during his earlier footballing years:
On the pitch, he is a joy to behold. Off the pitch, his wit makes his encounters with journalists exciting. But most of all, he brims with confidence. By having the late Muhammad Ali as his idol since he was young, you can see the boxer’s personality rub off on Zlatan as he portrays an out of this world confidence.
Once claimed as a 10 out of 10 player (by himself), now he is an 11 out of 10 player. That’s how much better he got. He has superseded the maximum capabilities of man. He has raised the bar of “out of 10” to “out of Zlatan.”
Here’s an interview of Zlatan before EURO 2016:
Here is a man who talks about himself in third person with complete sincerity; a man who has played club football in 4 different countries and won the league title with each club he went to; a man when asked by the fans of PSG what will take him to stay, he says if they replace the Eiffel Tower with a statue of Zlatan; and also a man who had a search engine just for him. Like for real. Who needs Google when you have Zlatan? Why feel lucky when you can feel Zlatan? You can now search for anything and everything Zlatan. Check it out here: http://zlaaatan.com/
Ok I think that’s enough about Zlatan to keep him happy. Now let me tell you why we’re really talking about him.
Zlatan, along with his partners (don’t know who they are. Zlatan is all you need to know) has just launched a new sportswear brand: A – Z, a brand that is gifted with the essence of Zlatan himself – utmost confidence.
Their tagline: “IT’S NOT ABOUT THE GEAR.”
Their motto: “WE WANT TO MAKE SPORTS AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE.”
A – Z might as well mean From Amateur to Zlatan. But no. Zlatan assures you that when it comes to this, all his wit is put aside… at least temporarily. The idea is for it to be an affordable quality sportswear that can help everyone, everywhere train to be who they want to be.
For Zlatan, confidence is key. The road to success is a though journey, and without confidence, it is sure to be an outrageously daunting task. But anyone can achieve it. The only thing that can take you from where you are now, to where you want to be, is YOU.
Here is the ad of the launch of A – Z:
A – Z promises nothing fancy like other sportswear brands do. You will not become faster, you will not become better. It is all about you. You decide the Z (your goals) in your training, and you will decide how far you want to go. It only serves as clothes to wear to your training – any kind of training – and a means to take you from A – Z. But what makes it special, is the inspiration of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. If Zlatan believes you can do it, you can do it!
Their clothes are simple, no fancy design. And the quality is good enough for you to train without any discomfort. Currently only having a line for men, Zlatan promises that in the near future, a line for women and children will be up for sale.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has transferred his characteristics into his brand. From growing up in a tough neighbour to his rags to riches journey, everything that has made him the success he is today has given birth to a brand that has a lot of promise. This is a brand that is about its users and nothing more. Even with his outlandish confidence, he has the humility to understand that hard work is needed in order to achieve success. And you can see that by just visiting his website: https://a-z.com/en. As he once said, “those who say they are perfect, are everything but (perfect).”
Here is the Q&A session of his brand (it’s 40 minutes long, but we’re sure it’s worth your while):
What kind of personality would you transfer into your brand?
